I spent the day working in Ravenglass, cleaning coaches and tidying up the C&W workshops with various people. Went up the line with Chris Little (with Martin Higginson as guard) in Douglas Ferreira to relieve the Esk for the 2.50.

I spent the day cleaning coaches in Ravenglass with Andrew Naylor. Not bad weather at all.

I cleaned coaches in the morning and then went up the line with Richard Smith (Paul Martin was guard) on River Irt on the 1.50. Wet, wet, wet!

I cleaned coaches and assisted in servicing Shelagh of Eskdale. Then I went up to the office to do some archiving.

I worked in Ravenglass station during the morning, then went and done some more archiving in the afternoon. I then went up in the cab of Douglas Ferreira with Chris Little (Bob Tebb was guard) on the 5.30.
